Matt J. Stannard’s interview with Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein addresses several standard questions asked by progressives concerning alternative candidates, including how a Green White House and congress would deal with Republicans, and whether the Greens aren’t, in fact, helping elect Mitt Romney, and whether that’s not, in fact, an unmitigated disaster. Stein’s answer  is as firm as her campaign is organized: “Romney would be a disaster,” she replies. ” And what we have now is a disaster.”  She also reminds listerners that ”Ralph Nader was never actually a member of the Green Party.”
